Inspired by Persian sour cherry, Albaloo balances vivid fruit, delicate florals, and warm woods in a fragrance that feels juicy, dark, and nostalgic.
Cherry has become one of perfumery’s most expressive notes. It can be playful or provocative, syrupy or tart, nostalgic or entirely modern. Yet Albaloo begins with a different cherry story—one rooted in Iran.
A Different Interpretation of Cherry
Albaloo Eau de Parfum translates that memory into scent.
Rather than recreating the literal tartness of the fruit, Homayoun Studio imagined albaloo through the lens of fragrance: deeper, smoother, and more sensual. The result is not a sugary cherry candy or a heavy cherry liqueur. It is our interpretation of Persian sour cherry—juicy and luminous at first, then softened by florals, vanilla, woods, and musk.
The opening pairs Persian Sour Cherry with Almond, capturing the fruit’s vivid brightness and the subtle nuttiness associated with its stone. It feels succulent and instantly recognizable, but never overly sweet.
Rose, Mimosa, and Orris
As the cherry settles, Damask Rose begins to bloom through the heart of the fragrance. Its presence connects Albaloo to another enduring part of Iranian olfactive culture: rosewater and the celebrated roses of Kashan.
Mimosa introduces a soft, golden warmth, while Orris adds a smooth, powdery texture. Together, they transform the bright opening into something more intimate—floral, feminine, and quietly nostalgic.
A Warm, Lingering Trail
Vanilla, Sandalwood, and Musk form the base of Albaloo. Vanilla rounds the tart fruit without overwhelming it, Sandalwood adds a creamy warmth, and Musk leaves a soft trail on the skin.
The contrast is what defines the fragrance: juicy cherry against powdery florals, brightness against warmth, and familiarity against something entirely new.
Albaloo is unisex, with a distinctly feminine lean. It is especially suited to autumn, when its cherry, rose, vanilla, and woods feel richest—but its smooth, musky finish makes it wearable throughout the year.
